GSC Game World’s community managers unveiled a fan-made series titled Glommy 2021, inspired by the STALKER universe. The narrative unfolds alongside Call from Pripyat, following a Monolith hunter who roams the Zone after the downfall of the O-Consciousness.
In the opening episode, the Monolith awakens near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. A swarm of bloodthirsty mustaches pursues the protagonist, yet that is not the sole challenge he faces. At certain moments, the Wishmaster’s voice calls him to abandon his journey.
Before this release, Glommy 2021 had already put out a video centered on Operation Fairway, which garnered around 50,000 views.
The project was crafted using Unreal Engine 5, with production work powered by Blender, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Substance Painter, Movavi, and Rizon UV.
There were early whispers that STALKER 2 would arrive in 2023 and that a preview could surface at an upcoming Xbox event, with speculation pointing to announcements in the near future.
