Gord Preview: Open World Strategy with Generated Characters

IGN’s portal has spotlighted Gord with a fresh 10-minute gameplay walkthrough, authored by Stan Just, known for his work on The Witcher 3. The clip captures early beta footage, where a few animation details are still missing. In the finished game, players should expect battles to feel more fluid and kinetic as development continues.

BEE Gord is framed around a single-player campaign that tasks players with guiding a collection of procedurally generated characters, each possessing distinct traits. The core goal is to construct and sustain a full settlement from the ground up. Residents will assign tasks, and completing these quests will often require leaving the city to explore ruins, hunt for treasures, potentially raid other settlements, and defend the community against hostile incursions. The world itself is designed to feel expansive and open, inviting exploration and strategic decision-making.

Though a release date has not been finalized, Gord’s page has already appeared on Steam, signaling ongoing development and future visibility to players seeking new strategy experiences.
