miHoYo unveiled update 3.5, titled “Anemone Breath,” for Genshin Impact, ahead of its release on March 1. A four-minute trailer highlighted the patch’s key features and changes, giving players a first glimpse of what’s coming to the fantasy world of Teyvat.

Following the broadcast, miHoYo reintroduced the familiar distribution of 300 source stones. Players could claim them by entering three promo codes before February 19, with rewards including additional resources and items:

  • KARU3RG6NY65 — rewards include 100 source stones and 10 ore;
  • 5SRC28YNNYP9 — rewards include 100 source stones and 5 experience books;
  • SB8UJ9H7NH8V — rewards include 100 source stones and 50 thousand plague.

The update introduces two new playable characters: Daehyu, a five-star Pyro wielder with a two-handed sword, and Mika, a four-star Cryo spear user. An Archon quest threads through the release, introducing Dinsleif and an encounter with Faruzan. A time-limited mode for Genshin’s card game adds extra challenges, alongside a new two-handed sword that unlocks through a series of events.

    The central event for the update is the Mondstadt festival named the Festival of Wind Flowers. Completing the event grants players a four-star two-handed sword as a memorable prize.

    Additionally, the banner lineup for update 3.5 was revealed: Dehya and Saino in the first half, followed by Kamisato Ayaka, Shen He, and Mika in the second half. After the 3.5 release, Daehya will appear on the default banner as well.

      For those who want to watch the complete presentation, a version with Russian subtitles is available:
