The creator behind the Residence of Evil YouTube channel shared a video showcasing how the Resident Evil 4 remake can resemble a classic entry, featuring a fixed camera setup reminiscent of earlier titles.
A recent demo of the game was used for demonstration. According to the uploader, about four hours were spent placing the camera in specific positions for each scene presented in the video, recreating a fixed perspective across the sequence.
Many players and modders are likely to explore a patch or mod that enables a fixed camera in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, letting fans choose that classic feel if they prefer it.
The project is slated for release on March 24 this year across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Additionally, the report mentions past creative experiments by modders, including playful character changes and stylized figures inspired by popular franchises.
