Extreme Pursuit is a series of challenges inside the Roses and Muskets event in Genshin Impact. Its standout feature is co-op playthrough, with groups of four competing to rack up as many points as possible by guiding meka balls into color-matched targets. This guide explains how to start, complete every test, and what rewards players can expect.
How to start Extreme Pursuit Challenges
The mini-game sits within the Roses and Muskets event. To join, players must complete certain quests and meet the following requirements:
- Reach adventure rank 20
- Complete the Archon mission Prologue Chapter 3 Song of Dragon Freedom
- Unlock the Fontaine region
After completing these steps, open the event log and select the mandatory task The Rumble of Muskets Breaks the Silence to gain access to the tests.
First, speak with Helen in Fontaine and then proceed to the uninhabited dungeon.
Test rules
In a makeshift arena, four players are assigned specific target colors. The aim is to score as many points as possible for your color while preventing opponents from scoring faster. The test unfolds across five arenas chosen at random.
Two types of balls can appear: stabilizing and luxurious. The stabilizing ball grants one point, while the luxurious ball yields seven points. Meka balls react to every player, making them hard to approach and easy to avoid in equal measure.
Jump power-ups appear in the arena from time to time, letting players jump higher and reach the far side of the field to interact with the opposing balls more effectively.
How to score maximum points and get all the rewards
All earned points accumulate toward a total score, which unlocks the available rewards. Players do not need to finish all tests in a single run because the score carries over. On the event’s first day, a cap of 2000 points is in place, and this limit rises every 24 hours.

- Theater tickets 400

- Mora 300,000
p>To maximize points in a single test, simply running is not enough. Use jumping power-ups to leap over balls and guide them toward the target color you control.
Rewards are granted in increments of every 500 points scored, and the total available rewards depend on the final score achieved across all attempts.
