A newly surfaced video on the internet is said to show an early build of STALKER 2. It has appeared on the YouTube channel It Doesn’t Matter Who and is also available through a Telegram channel linked to the same creators. The clip focuses on the moment when the protagonist nears a campfire where other stalkers gather. Notably, the footage depicts the main character without a head, which has sparked speculation about its purpose as part of an early version intended for a public reveal at the E3 event. The impression given by the video is that this early build is not yet polished and may carry elements that will change before final release. The footage also reveals several other oddities. Observers report hands separating from characters, underground character models, and other visual quirks. The uploader suggested these issues could be “crutches” or deliberate bugs meant to simplify development or testing. There is even a suggestion that the campfire sequence might not appear in the finished game at all and was perhaps created solely for the trailer. Earlier discussions from the STALKER 2 team had already flagged the possibility that the release date might shift. In addition, information circulated about a developer interface being shown by the Rossgram team, which added to the sense of ongoing adjustments and updates in the project. Source: VG Times
