Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to launch a highly anticipated mobile title, Diablo Immortal. The developer roadmap indicates a near-term release, with iOS pre-orders currently available in the App Store and Android pre-orders having begun a bit earlier on Google Play.
In tandem with the launch, the publisher announced a limited-time incentive: when pre-orders reach 30 million, a special Horadric decorative armor set will appear in the game. Players can obtain the armor by completing a guided training sequence within the first month after the game goes live. This promotion is described as a way to reward early adopters and showcase lore-driven gear that aligns with the Horadrim, a legendary order of mages linked to Archangel Tyrael. The set is designed to radiate a golden aura and adapts to the wearer’s combat style, offering a distinct look for each class.
Some reporting notes that the pre-launch window also includes attention to regional access. In particular, Russian players will not have access to the action role-playing page through the App Store in their domestic region, effectively excluding that audience from the pre-release grind.
With no official release date confirmed for Diablo Immortal, some outlets have published early impressions based on an alpha version, highlighting mechanics and systems that may influence post-launch balance and progression. For fans of action RPGs and fans of NieR: Automata, there has also been mention of collectible figures inspired by the game’s universe, including a 2B figure that features distinctive articulation.
