A new first-person shooter was unveiled today as part of the TGA 2022 showcase Crime Boss: Rockay City, and over six minutes of gameplay have since surfaced online, giving fans a deeper look at the project.
The leaked footage includes a mission set on a rooftop of a towering building, where the user interface is visible. Each of the four playable characters wields distinct weapons, and players encounter varied environments and target markers. The clip also hints at time dilation mechanics and features a firefight with elite police units along with the injuries that can follow.
The narrative centers on Travis Baker, a known Florida underworld figure from the 1990s who is determined to rise to true criminal prominence. The game is advertised with a solo campaign and a PvE co-op mode, tasking players with territorial control, bank robberies, and related underworld activities.
Several renowned actors lend their voices and performances to the game’s characters, including Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo, Kim Basinger, Michael Rooker, Danny Glover, and Chuck Norris. Crime Boss: Rockay City is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X as of March 29, with additional details shared through publisher and developer channels.
