In Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, players won’t find loot or consumables in the traditional sense, yet there are collectible secrets to seek out. These items are intentionally hidden in remote corners of the world. This guide outlines where to locate every Hellblade 2 collectible, helping players uncover hidden lore without spoiling the journey with direct spoilers for the story.

What can you collect

There are two distinct secret types prepared by the developers. First are knowledge pillars, commonly called runic totems. These pillars echo the style from the earlier game. As Senua approaches each pillar, she must concentrate to hear one of Druth’s legends. There are eighteen total in the game. Finding all of them unlocks the achievement Tales of Midgard.

The second secret type consists of trees tucked away along hidden paths behind concealed faces carved into stone. The challenge here is sharper, as players must study the stone reliefs to notice the faint contours of faces. Focusing reveals a path that leads to the plant. Focusing again makes the tree bloom. There are seventeen trees, and collecting them all yields the trophy The Look of the Gods.

There is a small hint to help verify completion. The runes on the totems light up when focused. If there are several dark runes between two lit ones, that indicates the number of totems missed. The same logic applies to trees: a spiral with dots marks each discovered tree, and every new tree illuminates another point on the spiral.

Upon finishing the game, players can review the collected items for each chapter. This feature also serves as a way to revisit moments when attention wandered.

Chapter 1

Knowledge pillar 1. Subsection Landing

The first totem waits on the beach and is hard to miss. Voices will guide Senua toward the totem and the peculiar runes. If the chapter is searched, the Landing subsection will appear.

Chapter 2

Knowledge pillar 2. Subsection Freyslaug found

At the chapter’s start, while pursuing the slaver, turn right. A fenced area with two thatched huts hides the secret behind them.

When the mirror is taken and the passage to the bridge opens, a large house with a hanging corpse forms part of the story path. At the exit, turn left into an area enclosed by posts. Turning left again brings players under a pile of rubble where a totem sits on the right.

From the prior pillar area, return to the large house exit and proceed to the house lit by a torch. To the right, a suspension bridge is visible but not yet necessary. Approach the torch and look to the wall of the hut on the right; a passage opens and the first tree lies inside.

Follow the story until a cutscene shows a man tied to a pole. Afterward, go to the edge, climb, and jump along the path. Look to the left to find a ladder, climb up, pass a small barrier, and a direct path to the totem appears.

Person 2. Subsection Meeting a stranger

Rescuing the prisoner and defeating the draugr leads to a moment when a new acquaintance guides Senua toward the village exit. Don’t miss the destroyed bridge and then turn left to spot another concealed face.

Cross the broken bridge and descend the slope, but do not reach the village. If Fargrimr offers shelter, take the left path to a smaller area with a totem.

Chapter 3

Knowledge pillar 6. Subsection Red Hills

When Senua, Fargrimr, and Torgestr reach the ruined village, search the left side of the area. Near a crack in the ground beside a ruined house sits a totem.

Look around the spot of the previous totem. With the pillar to the right, turn left a few steps to find a stone face on the right.

Face 4. Subsection Red Hills

Return to the village’s start and inspect the right side. A circular space invites standing in the center and looking to the left to spot a hidden face.

Knowledge pillar 7. Subsection On the Hill

After darkness fades and Senua returns to Fargrimr, the game guides a descent down the hill. Take your time and circle to the right; a house atop the hill contains a totem beside it and a dialog between two colonists.

Continue along the path down the hill. A puddle appears underfoot, followed by a turn to the right. Look slightly to the left without turning right to find the face.

Person 6. Subsection On the hill

After solving the first stones and clods puzzle, stay to the right. Pass the vanished barrier and climb higher to reveal a stone face.

Knowledge pillar 8. Subsection On the Hill

From the previous person, follow the path and turn left toward an expanded area with a totem. Climb to the edge, then move left through a hole and immediately right to discover it.

After the three-ball puzzle, proceed through the opened passage and turn right. Descend two ledges, then turn right and ascend. The three puddles along the main road act as a guide.

Jump down from the face onto the main path and stay left to find a squeeze-through hole that hides another totem.

According to the plot, a large cave awaits, but it is not yet accessible. Approach the fork and take the right path toward a smaller cave where another totem sits at the end.

During a bricks-based puzzle, inspect the ceiling closely. After grabbing the third ball, turn and find an upside-down totem on the ceiling.

Chapter 4

Person 8. Subsection Enter the caves

At chapter start, leap into a cave with a low ceiling. The face sits to the left as you move inside.

From the previous tree, continue along the plot and descend three ledges to a puddle. Turn right and climb to another ledge that grants access to a knowledge pillar.

Person 9. Subsection Enter the caves

As the story progresses, a brazier with blue fire appears. Continue onward to a hall where the brazier burns. Jump off the edge, stay right, and reach the brazier. Extinguish it and turn around to find a stone face.

Person 10. Subsection Enter the caves

Follow the plot toward the crack where Senua must jump. The face sits at a dead end in the water corridor.

Knowledge pillar 13. Subsection Access to the caves

Beyond the flooded corridor, a room with two braziers awaits. Light the second fire to reveal a hidden ledge and a totem on a side ledge.

Person 11. Subsection Sacrifice

When Senua loses her sword, follow the light through a sunlit cave where stones float. The left side hides a face tucked away among the rocks.

From the prior secret, continue to the edge. In the story, avoid going left and instead enter another cave where a final totem awaits.

chapter 5

Face 12. Subsection To the sea

Follow companions until Senua is left alone. Inspect the right side carefully as the descent begins. Voices hint at a sensation; a face sits slightly to the right of the flowing water.

Knowledge pillar 15. Subsection To the sea

After the previous moment, ascend the slope, then turn right and enter a cave with a waterfall. Take another right and, after passing rocks, spot a totem perched on a cliff.

Person 13. Subsection Siavarrisi

When Senua is alone with Astridr, pursue the girl. Reach the crack where you must squeeze through. On the right side, check for a stone face before proceeding.

Knowledge pillar 16. Subsection Syavarrisi

Continue along the plot to the next crevice. After squeezing through, overcome two more obstacles and then turn right to a low passage behind which a totem hides.

Person 14. Subsection Siavarrisi

Immediately after the rune puzzle, move through the opened route and look to the right. The story may lead to a reunion with Astridr. If that moment has passed, turn around and locate a stone face.

Knowledge pillar 17. Section New question

At the rune puzzle on the beach, seek symbols. After the fork-like feature, an area with broken ships opens. Behind the bluish glow that indicates something from behind the clot lies a crack to squeeze toward the totem, along the path to the second character.

Person 15. Subsection New question

Turn away from the previous pillar of knowledge and scan the left side before passing through the crack.

Person 16. Subsection New question

After learning the backstory of the second giant, the player ends up in a village. Walk past the houses, and after the third hut, turn right into a backyard where a face awaits.

Knowledge pillar 18. Subsection New question

From the hut, return to the main path. A short walk brings the next hut on the left and a left turn up the hill where a totem is fenced with stones after a small passage.

Person 17. Subsection New question

From the last knowledge pillar, turn around and follow the leftward path to the end. A nearby house with a burning torch serves as a landmark; the face sits slightly left of the torch.
