Autopsy Simulator has unveiled a fresh trailer, released during the IGN EXPO showcase. The clip offers a close look at the interior anatomy of a human body, giving viewers a sense of the game’s immersive approach to medical realism.

In this game, players will meticulously inspect corpses to determine causes of death. The investigative journey requires examining reports and documents, piecing together clues about victims, and building a narrative based on evidence. A strong detective component is woven into the core gameplay, blending medical detail with problem-solving and deduction.

The project is a result of collaboration with actual pathologists and forensic doctors, aiming to recreate authentic procedures and scenarios.

“We aimed for a high degree of realism, so organs, tissues, and injuries are depicted with precise detail,” note the developers. The attention to anatomical accuracy is meant to enhance the player experience and educate as well as engage.

The game is scheduled for release in November this year, with the option to add Autopsy Simulator to the Steam wishlist.
