The Kitchen section of the official Xbox Online Store is slated to expand with a new line of kitchen gadgets, including a toaster and assorted utensils, according to an updated report from WinFuture.
During a presentation, slides detailing the S Series Toaster and its technical specifications were shown to journalists. As the label implies, the appliance mirrors the styling of the Xbox Series S. It features a two-slice slot measuring 4 cm in width and a footprint of 12 by 12 cm. With an 800-watt motor, the toaster supports six distinct browning settings and includes a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning.
Based on leaked promotional materials, Microsoft appears to be preparing multiple kitchen-product sets in addition to the toaster. One collection reportedly includes two sets of dinner plates, dessert plates, bowls, and mugs. A second item is a ramen-and-noodle bowl kit. A third item is an Xbox controller-shaped bottle opener. All pieces reportedly carry the Microsoft gaming division emblem, underscoring the cross-category branding strategy.
There has been no official word yet on sales dates for the toaster or the accompanying dishware. What is known is that the toaster is priced at 60 euros, with exchange-rate estimates varying by market.
