WatchGPT on Apple Watch brings ChatGPT to your wrist

WatchGPT has arrived for Apple Watch, bringing access to the ChatGPT neural network right on a wearable. Reported by a technology portal, Hi-Tech Mail.Ru, the app marks a notable step in bringing conversational AI to wrist devices.

The app is priced at 179 rubles and supports Apple Watch Series 3 and newer. The purchase is a one-time payment, with no ongoing subscription required. Upon launching WatchGPT, users can submit questions via the on-screen keyboard or use voice input for convenience and speed.

After a user asks a question, the system provides a near-instant response. The neural network is designed to give concise replies to fit the small display, and if the full answer won’t fit on screen, users can swipe the Digital Crown to read the complete response. There is also an option for the answer to be spoken aloud, helping users stay focused on their surroundings while receiving information.

According to the editor of the technology portal, queries in Russian yield Russian-language results, though some responses may appear tilted or skewed in tone. The review also notes that WatchGPT does not require a VPN or foreign mobile number registration to operate, removing a common friction point for users traveling or living outside their home country.

Previously, discussions on SocialBites.ca highlighted a shift in user interest away from Google among voice assistant users. This context underscores the growing demand for AI-powered tools that work smoothly on compact devices like smartwatches, where quick answers and hands-free access are especially valued.
