Tomb Raider I-III Remastered: Modernized Classics Across Platforms

The Tomb Raider trilogy received a modern refresh with remasters that arrived in mid-February 2024, bringing sharper visuals and richer audio to Lara Croft’s classic adventures. The announcements came as the project moved into a new phase, with the team finalizing tweaks that preserve the spirit of the originals while updating textures and models for a contemporary display.

In the development process, a game designer joined the team in June 2023 to shape the reimagined experience. His responsibilities included designing achievements, integrating the New Game+ feature, refining the Russian localization, and ensuring the atmospheric punch of the early games remained intact as the visuals were refreshed. This careful balance helps longtime fans recognize the series while discovering modern polish that enhances immersion.

Alongside him, a graphic designer contributed to the remaster by crafting achievement icons, restoring certain textures, and updating loading screens to align with the updated presentation.

The Tomb Raider I-III Remastered collection brings Lara Croft’s adventures back to life with upgraded graphics and audio across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The release expands access for players on different systems, letting a wider audience revisit or discover the iconic trilogy with contemporary performance.

Earlier communications noted that the remasters were fully localized into Russian, making the experience more accessible to Russian-speaking players and fans of the franchise. This localization effort complements the visual and audio enhancements, ensuring a cohesive, authentic feel across language versions.
