They are preparing to unveil their inaugural project at Samar Studio. The team has assembled young professionals who previously contributed to action and survival game development to craft a title that leverages cutting-edge technology to elevate the user experience. Announced as The Front, the game will launch its early access journey on Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 11.

The Open World Survival Concept

At its core, The Front presents a post-apocalyptic sandbox teeming with mutants and competing factions. In this setting, players confront imperial forces, raiders, and rebels in an open-world conflict that shapes humanity’s fate. The gameplay encourages social play where friends team up to explore ruins, dismantle monster colonies, and forge a secure base. Players can construct defensive towers and traps, advance technology for weapons and gear, and even pilot tanks and aircraft to safeguard home territory from intruders. Early Access will grant access from level 1 to level 60, offering a progression system that unlocks more sophisticated gathering, crafting tools, and contemporary weaponry, along with a broad fleet of ground and aerial vehicles.

Design Your Shelter in a Harsh World

With no terrain constraints and ample room for imagination, the development team promises hundreds of components to realize any concept. This freedom enables players to influence enemy routes, set up traps, and deploy turrets that detect and engage intruders automatically. The game will also feature more than 20 vehicle types for different tasks, including pickup trucks, cargo haulers, miners, anti-air vehicles, and combat helicopters, illustrating the variety of options available for securing territories and moving across the map.

Among the player abilities is the option to recruit NPCs who provide support. These companions come with unique traits that assist in crafting items, speeding up production, and boosting durability. Material farming plays a key role as players establish their own farmed crops, while exploring diverse biomes suggested by the game, such as deserts, jungles, snowfields, and swamps. Early Access remains slated to begin on October 11, 2023, with ongoing updates as the world expands.

Front Side – Early Access

Early Access will serve as a gateway to a broader, evolving experience where players can test systems, gather feedback, and watch the world and its systems grow in real time. The emphasis is on player collaboration, strategic planning, and improvisation in a living, breathing post-apocalyptic ecosystem. As players progress, they will refine survival techniques, unlock advanced tools, and push the frontier through shared endeavors and lively combat scenarios. This staged release approach invites a diverse community to shape the final vision while enjoying a demanding, immersive sandbox adventure.
