Booming Tech and My.Games have unveiled the second season for their crossover title, Fatih’s Sword. Sengoku season invites players to walk the path of the Samurai and recruit units inspired by legendary Japanese warriors. A new campaign is also available in single-player PvE, offering a compelling route to strengthen troops and progress through a well-crafted narrative arc.
new units
The season opens with the opportunity to unlock three special units that expand strategic options across battles. These new fighters join the roster for the duration of the season:
Ronin (3 stars): Wields sharp swords to strike hard and fast, delivering high damage in short bursts.
Onna-musha (4 stars): A formidable frontline defender who can repel melee threats with precise blade work.
Orochi Samurai (5 stars): A fearsome anti-cavalry presence that disrupts pursuing foes with long-reaching polearms.
Unit development system
Alongside the new fighters arrives Unit Mastery, a fresh upgrade framework that unlocks progressively as units level up. This system lets players enhance statistics and tailor abilities or mechanics, offering over 100 unit options to balance. The update aims to give commanders greater freedom when leading armies, while maintaining meaningful tuning of existing units.
The new solo PvE mode, Mastery in Command, provides a unique path to deepen unit proficiency. Players advance through a siege structured in multiple stages, culminating in a direct engagement with the enemy commander. Participants may field their own units and will receive occasional supplementary units and boosts from AI-controlled allied heroes, enhancing strategic depth and flexibility.
Finally, the Sengoku battle ticket introduces two samurai-themed outfits. The hero Shadow Muraji unlocks automatically, completing the pass and revealing the Red Stag outfit and mount set, alongside additional rewards. The game remains available for free on Steam.
