As part of ongoing efforts to celebrate teachers and mentors, the Sferum education team at VK Messenger is organizing the Digital Teachers Council, an online marathon for educators that features master classes and sessions focused on integrating new technologies into learning. This initiative brings together teachers, instructors, primary and secondary education professionals, educational administrators, media center leaders, classroom mentors, and school coordinators. After the live broadcast, participants can access a recording of the sessions for later reference.

The Digital Pedagogy Council is designed to benefit both newcomers to Sferum and experienced users who already rely on digital tools and are seeking fresh ideas to enrich their teaching practice.

The lineup includes prominent experts in education, such as the head of the Pedagogical Workshop at the Chechen State Pedagogical University (CSPU), who was named Russia’s Teacher of the Year in 2018, as well as a leading Russian language and literature educator from Moscow’s Media School, a recipient of the Moscow City competition Teacher of the Year 2023 and a semi-finalist in the All-Russian contest Great Theme. Additional speakers from the field of education will be announced as the event approaches [Sferum education team].

At the outset of the Digital Pedagogy Council, the team will unveil the Library of User Scenarios, a teaching resource developed by finalists of the All-Russian Olympiad Faces of the Sphere 2023. This collection aims to provide ready-made teaching scenarios that can be adapted across various subjects and grade levels, helping teachers implement practical digital strategies in their classrooms.

All registered participants will receive certificates upon completion, and the organizers plan to recognize the most engaged teachers with useful gifts. Registration for the Digital Teachers Council is available here [Sferum education team].

VK Messenger’s Sferum educational profile serves as a Russian information and communication platform crafted for educational purposes and for fostering communication among teachers, students, and parents within a secure learning environment. The Sferum learning profile acts as an additional digital tool that complements traditional classroom education, enhancing its effectiveness without replacing core instruction. Within the profile, users can engage in chats, perform online searches, share educational materials such as files up to 4 GB, upload photos and videos, and conduct surveys. This setup emphasizes safe, collaborative learning and easy access to resources in a unified space.
