Realme, the Chinese electronics brand, has rolled out a lineup of affordable smart TVs in Russia, available in 43, 50, and 55 inch sizes. The news surfaced on the tech outlet 3DNews, signaling Realme’s push into budget television segments while showcasing its push for cutting-edge display technologies.

The standout model is the 55 inch Smart SLED 4K, which Realme markets as the world’s first TV built with a SLED matrix. This approach replaces the conventional white and blue backlights with a trio of color diodes—blue, red, and green—designed to deliver more even color reproduction. Realme claims the panel achieves a near-complete color footprint, boasting an 108% NTSC gamut coverage. The design also emphasizes aesthetics, featuring ultra-thin bezels around 9.5 millimeters, a level of refinement typically associated with higher-end devices.

In parallel, the 43 and 50 inch models of the Realme Smart TV 4K use a traditional LED matrix. These budget-friendly variants offer a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut and support high dynamic range features, including HDR image contrast. Dolby Vision is also integrated to enhance cinematic brightness and color depth, aiming to deliver a more immersive viewing experience without stepping into premium price brackets.

All three models are being sold through the M.Video-Eldorado retail network, with introductory promotional pricing during the first month of availability. The Smart SLED 4K 55 inch is listed at 54,990 rubles, while the 50 inch and 43 inch Smart TV 4K configurations are priced at 43,990 rubles and 33,990 rubles respectively. This pricing strategy positions Realme as a compelling option for consumers seeking larger 4K displays with advanced color technologies at accessible costs, backed by a wide distribution network in Russia.
