Prompribor-R Expands Domestic Production of Gas Sensing Panels in Moscow

The capital’s Prompribor-R enterprise has begun producing panels for household control and measurement systems. This update comes from the official portal of Moscow’s mayor and government, which cited the press service of the City of Moscow’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy as the source of the news.

Prompribor-R now manufactures hardware that determines the concentration of toxic and explosive gases in work areas, along with related hazardous vapors. Historically, many of these boards were sourced from Chinese manufacturers. The new direction at Prompribor-R aims to replace those foreign components with domestically produced technology inside gas analyzers.

The board is built on a single printed circuit board. To achieve this, the company shifted to a smaller component footprint and adopted CNC soldering for precision assembly. This modernization reduces the number of separate modules and streamlines production flow within a single facility.

With expanded capacity and modern manufacturing methods, the company reports that it has integrated all necessary production stages in one site. Preliminary production results show that 250 units have already passed inspections and technical tests, signaling a solid validation of the new approach and capabilities, according to a representative from the Moscow government.

Officials note that the domestic plate products are slated for mass production by the end of the year, marking a significant step in localizing critical gas-sensing technology for industrial use.
