Odnoklassniki has rolled out a fresh initiative inviting bloggers to design and host their own shows directly on the platform. The program invites creators to outline and defend their concepts, backed by a professional production team at no cost to the creator. The team includes producers, screenwriters, content specialists, and distributors who work together to move ideas from concept to finished program.
OK explains that selected concepts will progress through several evaluation stages led by a professional panel. The panel comprises OK representatives paired with partners who specialize in high-quality content creation. To apply on the project website, applicants should present a clear concept and rationale for why the idea would captivate the network’s community, along with a preliminary budget range. The show concept should align with one of the 13 focus areas that reflect popular user hobbies on OK, reinforcing the platform’s role as a hub for hobbyists. After the initial submissions, a group of finalists will defend their projects before industry experts. Winners are anticipated to be announced by the end of the third quarter, with the selection process designed to identify work that resonates with audiences in Canada, the United States, and viewers worldwide.
Authors whose ideas are chosen will collaborate with CTRL + M – DIGITAL, an experienced production partner responsible for creating more than 200 shows across diverse formats with numerous bloggers. This partnership guides projects from early story and script development through to full production and postproduction, ensuring a seamless path from concept to screen. The OK team will also assist with promotion across the platform, sharing insights into OK’s recommendation systems and user interests to maximize reach within the network.
Any blogger already managing a group on Odnoklassniki can participate. Applications are open through August 15 of this year. Winners will be showcased on OK’s social channels for the remainder of the year, providing ongoing exposure within a vibrant, community-driven environment. The experience mirrors OK’s prior multi-format efforts, including the earlier program “Scientific Universe,” which engaged students and young creators in similar formats.
