At present, the feature is available in the OK Android app and is expected to arrive in the iOS version soon. The move aligns with a growing trend on the platform, where members increasingly use greetings to recognize birthdays, anniversaries, career achievements, and other significant moments.
In 2023, user demand for greetings on the platform continued to rise. The OK community sent a total of 11.2 billion gifts in the second quarter, showing a 49% year-over-year increase, and 632 million postcards, up 15%. These figures reflect a sustained interest in thoughtful, timely interactions that reinforce connections among friends and colleagues.
To create and dispatch a greeting, a user navigates to the Holiday section and selects the Congratulations Showcase. Once opened, wishes appear not only in the showcase but also directly within the user’s personal feed, ensuring visibility among friends and followers. A delayed-send option is included, allowing users to schedule a note so it reaches the recipient on the right date, even if the sender is busy at the moment.
Earlier updates also highlighted Odnoklassniki’s expansion into additional audio features, including the launch of the radio FM service, illustrating the platform’s broader strategy to support multimedia interactions within one social space.
