Nothing Company unveiled the budget-friendly smartphone labeled as the Nothing Phone (2a), powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chip. The device features a distinctive back panel with backlit, transparent housing that catches the eye and mirrors Nothing’s signature design language. The GSMArena portal has reported these details.
The Nothing Phone (2a) stands out with a see-through body and a trio of illuminated Glyph Interface diodes on the rear panel. These diodes light up to signal notifications and incoming calls. The front display is a generous 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, delivering Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches up to 1300 nits, making it readable in bright outdoor conditions.
Photography on the Phone (2a) is anchored by a 50-megapixel main camera built around a Samsung GN9 sensor with optical image stabilization. A secondary 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, based on the Samsung JN1 module, broadens the scene capture. For selfies, the device offers a 32-megapixel front camera.
Power comes from a substantial 5000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Unlike some other Nothing-branded devices, wireless charging is not included on this model.
The Nothing Phone (2a) runs on Android 2.5 paired with the Nothing OS 14 user experience. In terms of storage options, the 8 GB RAM with 128 GB of storage configuration is priced around €330, while the 12 GB RAM with 256 GB of storage variant is listed at roughly €380.
