The project features a 2G base station deployed at the station to provide essential mobile coverage. Connectivity is supported via satellite channels, chosen to withstand the polar climate. The Bellingshausen installation represents a collaborative effort between MTS, the 69th Russian Antarctic Expedition, and the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute.
