After an ill-fated encounter, a Moscow resident was robbed and assaulted on Nakhimovsky Prospekt, a detail reported by the Telegram channel “Attention, Moscow.”
According to the source, the 22-year-old Dmitry arranged a date and had a few drinks beforehand to steady his nerves. He arrived at the meeting place, but instead of waiting for his date, he wandered along Nakhimovsky Prospekt, calling out the name of a friend to attract attention from passersby.
One bystander asked Dmitry for a contact number where he could reach his friends. In a moment, Dmitry handed over his iPhone 6s, then vanished with the device when asked for the number. While the victim tried to track down the thief, he ran into two men in a nearby courtyard. He suspected one of them might be involved in the theft and directed insults at the group. In response, he received several blows to the face from strangers not connected to the initial theft.
After the incident, Dmitry reported the events to the police. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities gather evidence and review surveillance footage, hoping to identify those responsible.
