Russian studio Sobaka Studio has released a gameplay trailer for its sci fi action title Kiborg, a roguelike styled adventure where players guide a cyborg named Vasily through a gritty, neon drenched universe. The video first surfaced on YouTube.

The narrative threads Kiborg through a prison planet called Sigma, a world sealed off for quarantine. Players command Vasily’s clones on a series of missions, leaning into close quarters combat with mutated beasts and heavily armored penal enforcers. The cyborg accrues power by integrating implants and wielding a variety of weapons to unlock new suit capabilities.

Vasily can don a full protective suit that shields him from head to toe. Different armor pieces can be acquired to alter performance, such as increasing firearm damage or boosting survivability in tough engagements.

Resource gathering and ally recruitment play a key role in upgrading Vasily across missions. As the campaign progresses, players will encounter barter opportunities and the discovery of forbidden technologies that reshape strategies and options.

Each Kiborg mission spans a single in game day and cannot be replayed. The ongoing narrative advances independently of mission outcomes, rewarding players with evolving storylines and new challenges as they progress.

The Kiborg project is being developed for PC and currently has no announced release date. The team commits to delivering full Russian language support, including voice acting and subtitles, to immerse players in the experience.

Earlier, a trailer for the Russian shooter Pioner was released to mark the studio’s ongoing work in the genre .
