The iPhone 13 from the American tech giant Apple has seen a noticeable price drop in Russia. According to Hi-Tech Mail.ru, the assortment released in 2021 has decreased by about one-fifth, with prices slipping roughly 20 percent from their initial levels.
At the start of sales the device carried a price of 79,990 rubles. Current listings show the price hovering around the 60,000 ruble mark, marking a decline of more than 20 percent according to the report.
Observers note that as early as March this year the iPhone 13 was already trending downward in Russian online shops. Earlier in the year, listings started from around 65,000 rubles, indicating a continuing downward correction in the market for Apple’s 2021 model.
Launched in late 2021, the iPhone 13 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and the A15 Bionic processor. It maintains a dual rear camera system and retains the distinctive notch that has since evolved in newer models. These design and hardware choices remain central to the device’s appeal, even as price dynamics shift in the market.
Meanwhile, the price trend for the flagship iPhone 11 Pro Max, originally introduced in 2019, has also shown a significant drop in Russian retail. Current listings place the device below 70,000 rubles, reflecting a broader pattern of depreciation among Apple’s premium lineup in the region. The evolving price landscape for both models illustrates how consumer demand, currency movements, and retail competition influence the cost of smartphones in Russia while Apple continues to expand its ecosystem with updated releases in other markets.
