The team behind Hamster Kombat, a popular crypto-themed game built on Telegram, has rolled out a new set of combo cards scheduled to be available from July 4 through July 5, as reported by Broadcast Sports Express.
To assemble a combo, players must collect three distinct cards: UX & UI Team, Riyadh Masters 2024, and CX Hub Istanbul. The first card sits in the PR & Team section, while the other two are filed under the Special category. Activating these cards grants players a one-time prize of 5 million HMSTR currency inside the game.
The Riyadh Masters 2024 map is a fresh addition that joined the game on July 4. It has a price tag of 35 thousand coins, and by default, players receive an additional 3 thousand coins per hour of profit.
In-game combinations reset daily at 15:00 Moscow time, introducing a rotating mix of possibilities for active players.
The developers have signaled that, should the project eventually list on cryptocurrency exchanges, players could convert accumulated points into crypto assets. Yet industry voices warn against expecting substantial earnings from Hamster Kombat. Vladimir Smerkis, the former head of Binance in the CIS, noted that a rising player base could complicate token distribution. Blockchain expert Oleg Lupikov cautions players not to overestimate the financial returns tied to the game.
Within the crypto games landscape, Hamster Kombat faces competition from other Telegram-based projects such as Catizen and Blum, which vie for similar audiences and engagement patterns.
Authorities have warned about the risks of gaming addiction related to Hamster Kombat, emphasizing the need for responsible play and mindful participation in crypto gaming ecosystems.
