The findings reveal clear preferences across gadget categories and price ranges, reflecting evolving interests in tech and home devices among women in North America.
Across the board, a large share of women enjoy gift giving on International Women’s Day. In the survey, 96% of respondents expressed pleasure in receiving gifts, while about half indicated they are consistently satisfied with what they get. The data suggest a strong enthusiasm for thoughtful tech presents that blend practicality with enjoyment.
Overall, 81% of participants would welcome gadgets, electronics, or smart home devices as gifts on March 8. Specifically, 51% showed interest in kitchenware upgrades, 46% favored smartphones or tablets, and 45% looked for health and beauty devices. Smart wearable and home assistant options also ranked highly, with 42% hoping for items like smart watches or smart speakers. Computers or laptops and robot vacuums each attracted 37% interest among respondents, underscoring a preference for versatile, time-saving tech that enhances daily life.
Additional segments reveal willingness to consider clothing care equipment such as irons, steam generators, or sewing machines for roughly 30% of respondents. Headphones or other accessories drew 27% interest, while 25% favored various household appliances including smart lighting and humidifiers. TVs or home theater systems were appealing to 22% of those surveyed, indicating a spectrum of gifts that span personal tech to home improvement.
Industry notes pointed out evolving trends in mobile device aesthetics, including color popularity for iPhones, reflecting how style preferences interplay with practical gadget choices. This aligns with broader consumer behavior showing that presentation and perceived value influence gift decisions as much as functionality does.
