Boasting a fresh season, the collaboration between Booming Tech and MY.GAMES marks the launch of a free-to-play tactical MMO chapter for Fatih’s Sword. The season, themed around the idea of “forever,” introduces a brand-new game mode, Escalation, along with additional units, artillery, and a campaign inspired by the rich tapestry of ancient China and its legendary heroes. In-game events celebrating the season kick off and run through March 9, inviting players to dive into the updated battlefield and test their strategic prowess.
Escalation arrives as a decisive shift in how teams approach siege warfare. This new mode lets players switch units at key moments, increasing tactical flexibility and creating dynamic shifts in momentum. Real-time coordination becomes essential as teammates coordinate stronger defenses and sharper offenses, turning each skirmish into a test of nerve and timing. The update invites players to showcase their battlefield instincts and adapt on the fly as the situation evolves around them.
Three fresh warriors join the roster this season through ongoing unit campaigns: Wu Xing Spearmen, a three-star unit wielding fiery spears capable of unleashing elemental bursts; Crescent Monks, a four-star group whose special weapons allow them to topple foes with precision strikes; and Cavalry with packhorse momentum, featuring the five-star yanyuedao blades for rapid, sweeping counters. The season also unveils the Divine Crow, a monumental epic artillery piece with an extended range and wide blast radius, designed to sway the tide of larger engagements and open new strategic possibilities for siege-focused battles.
New campaign and Season Pass
The Dynasty update invites players to step back into the awe-inspiring world of ancient China during the Tang Dynasty, where imperial courts, battlefield loyalties, and legendary figures form a vivid backdrop for conquest. The newly introduced Seasonal Campaign gives players the chance to advance through distinct regions such as No Man’s Land and Liangyun, eventually venturing into Longting. In these shifting terrains, players develop their Legends, secure Territorial Battles, and pursue weekly objectives that reward progress and prestige. The journey culminates with a final, high-stakes challenge in Daicheng, testing strategy, persistence, and teamwork at the season’s end.
In addition to the evolving campaign, the season adds fresh warriors and challenges that keep the gameplay loop engaging for veterans and newcomers alike. The Eternal Battle Pass accompanies the update, offering a mix of free and premium rewards, with certain items exclusive to this season. The Wandering Hero Ornament unlocks as soon as the Battle Pass is activated, while climbing to level 100 rewards dedicated Legends with some of the most sought-after cosmetics, including the Hundred Victory Outfits for legendary heroes. A new cinematic trailer showcases the season’s highlights, giving players a cinematic window into the grand changes and the new power dynamics shaping battles on the field.
