The most outgoing programming students are those who study languages such as Java and Python. socialbites.ca gathered insights from a Skillbox training platform study, the results of which were shared with editors.

By the end of 2023, Skillbox reported 338 active chats, supported by 150 course curators and 137 assistant curators. Chats accounted for 44% of all users enrolled in paid programs. December 2023 data showed the most engaged communities in the following courses: Java Developer (20%), Python Advanced (18%), Python Framework Django (17%), Kotlin (16%), and Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro (15.5%).

Users emphasized a preference for interacting with classmates in addition to asking questions of curators in Q&A formats. The chat atmosphere remained steady between Q2 and Q4, with 65% of participants rating it as comfortable.

“Chats and chat support are being built to give students spaces where they can learn in parallel and receive real-time guidance from curators, student chat assistants, and fellow peers. We ensure every needed condition is in place in the course chats,” stated Angela Aliyeva, head of Skillbox’s community management team.

There is a growing expectation that job opportunities, especially for Russians, now include AI competencies.
