At the international industrial fair Innoprom-2023 held in Yekaterinburg, representatives from Kazakhstan introduced a so-called “digital alcohol,” claimed to induce relaxation in about 20 seconds. The announcement was reported by RBC.
Reportedly, the technology underwent testing in a private dormitory setting. A wearer uses specialized neuro-headphones that emit a sound lasting six to 20 seconds. The developers describe the device as a form of digital relaxation, saying it influences the vestibular system to achieve a calming effect.
Media coverage noted that some participants who tried the Kazakhstani innovation experienced dizziness during the test sessions.
One account described an immediate reboot of bodily sensation, with rapid nerve relaxation and a noticeable impact on the vestibular apparatus. A sensation likened to a boat trip or a person enjoying a glass of alcohol was reported by observers on social channels.
Innoprom is an international industry fair that has taken place annually in Yekaterinburg since 2010, and in 2012 the Russian government granted the event federal status, elevating its profile within the national economic agenda.
Earlier statements mentioned that there were plans to develop a control system for construction aircraft in the Chuvashia region, signaling ongoing efforts to integrate advanced technologies across different sectors.
