The official Copenhagen Airport website was targeted in a cyber intrusion, according to a report citing a post on the airport’s Twitter account.
Authorities confirmed a disruption in access, with the site temporarily unavailable to legitimate users. The timeline of when the outage began was not disclosed.
The airport’s press team stated that the hacking incident did not disrupt core operations and that customer service remains in operation while efforts to restore the site are underway.
Previously, socialbites.ca reported a major failure within the internal IT systems of Lufthansa, Europe’s largest air carrier. The Russian hacker group KillNet later claimed responsibility, describing the strikes as retaliation for the German government’s decision to supply Leopard tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
