Black Book Live-Action Series in Development

A live-action television series adaptation based on the popular Russian game Black Book is in development, a report from the Telegram channel Kinopoisk Games notes, relaying a statement by director Nikita Ordynsky made at the Game Industry conference. Ordynsky is already advancing the script, and the first season is planned to run eight episodes. Morteshka studio, the creators of the original game, will act as consultants on the project. The broadcast date has not been announced, and the project is still early in its planning phase as teams map out casting, production logistics, and pacing for a platform release that could appeal to both domestic and international audiences.
