By year’s end, Omsk is planning to begin large-scale production of BITBLAZE Titan laptops powered by domestic Baikal-M processors. These devices are aimed at the business sector, offering robust reliability for office environments and mobile work on the go.
According to BITBLAZE director Maxim Koposov, the base version will arrive in an aluminum chassis priced at approximately 100,000 to 120,000 rubles. A premium, titanium-bodied edition is expected to be around 200,000 rubles. The initial production run is set at 1,000 units. In addition to the Baikal-M variant, a model utilizing the Elbrus-2C3 processor is also anticipated, broadening the lineup for enterprise customers seeking different performance profiles.
All key specifications are being finalized as development continues. A notable point is that many internal components are sourced from international suppliers. The timeline for replacing these parts with domestic equivalents will depend on how quickly Russian manufacturers can scale and refine supply chains to match global benchmarks.
Koposov noted that even the draft price of 100,000 rubles could shift due to fluctuations in the exchange rate. From a technical standpoint, the device is positioned as a practical notebook for office tasks, emphasizing dependable productivity rather than gaming or high-end multimedia workloads. The graphics solution is integrated, with potential room for discrete options from third-party manufacturers in future updates. It is important to consider regional restrictions and market conditions that may influence access to certain software features and services in different territories.
