Xiaomi unveiled the Band 8 Pro, a fitness bracelet designed to boost daily tracking with a bigger display and a refreshed health sensor. The device is built for those who want more clarity on metrics while keeping a lightweight form on the wrist.

The Band 8 Pro flaunts a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480×336 and a 60Hz refresh rate, delivering crisper visuals and smoother scrolling than its predecessor by a noticeable margin.

Xiaomi states that the bracelet can last up to 14 days on typical use or about 6 days with Always-on Display enabled, depending on how it is used and the features active during the day.

Among the notable upgrades is an advanced optical sensor capable of monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. The Band 8 Pro also includes an NFC chip and a GPS receiver to map workouts directly on the device. For fitness fans, there are over 150 workout modes and water resistance rated at 5 ATM, making it suitable for swimming and daily wear alike.

The hardware profile lists a thickness of 9.9 mm and a bracelet weight of around 22.5 grams, keeping the model compact and comfortable for all-day use. In China, the Band 8 Pro is priced at 399 yuan, roughly equivalent to 5.4 thousand rubles, with availability details for Russia yet to be announced.

During the same event, Xiaomi also showcased the Foldable Mix Fold 3, a device that targets productivity on the go with flagship specifications and Leica-branded camera capabilities for enhanced photography.

Rumors have also circulated about Apple’s upcoming Watch X, noted for a completely redesigned exterior that aims to redefine the wearable experience for a broad audience.

Overall, the Band 8 Pro positions Xiaomi as a strong contender in the mid-range wearable market, offering meaningful upgrades in display size, sensing technology, and sport-focused features that appeal to health-conscious users in North America and beyond. Market responses will likely hinge on real-world battery life, the usefulness of the expanded workout catalog, and how the device integrates with popular health ecosystems and apps available in Canada and the United States. The band’s continued emphasis on fitness analytics, alongside a practical form factor and broad compatibility, makes it a noteworthy option for those seeking a capable tracker without stepping into premium-tier pricing.
