Artemy Lebedev Defends Ivleeva Party Attendees Amid Public Backlash

A prominent Russian blogger and designer, Artemy Lebedev, defended a group of Russian celebrities who attended Anastasia Ivleeva’s controversial party described as a naked gathering. This stance was shared during Ivleeva’s episode titled Naked, which also touches on the seizure of the Kenyan Embassy in Moscow and a roller coaster nightmare, released as news podcast episode 473 on a VKontakte channel.

Lebedev extended well-wishes to the men who were present, wishing them long life and happiness. He suggested that they should share all information and ignore those he called the nitpickers or trash-talkers, presenting a cheerful, carefree attitude toward the event.

The designer insisted there was nothing offensive about the party itself, arguing that public figures are entitled to choose how they unwind. He claimed that the denunciations against Ivleeva and the attendees stem from alleged mental distress in the accusers, portraying them as sick or unstable in his view.

According to Lebedev, a consult with psychiatrists could reveal that many critics are dealing with a form of extreme anxiety or fear, which he described as a coping mechanism rather than a substantive critique.

The Ivleeva event occurred across December 20 and 21, and the resulting photographs sparked strong public reaction and widespread anger as people weighed the images against societal norms and expectations for privacy and propriety.

In another note from the time, the well-known kitchen figure Dmitry Nazarov commented on Ivleeva’s guest list, naming some attendees with a colloquial label that reflected typical media banter rather than formal judgment.
