The renewal of the hardware and electronics retail network continues with an uptick in availability for Apple Vision Pro. In Moscow, the augmented reality glasses are set to be offered in stores on February 22, with additional rollout on February 26 in St. Petersburg. Expanded demo zones are planned for the cities of Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk as well, according to a statement from the company’s press service.

The company also notes that Apple Vision Pro test drive areas have begun operating in restoration stores across Moscow, including Neglinnaya Street, Aviapark, and Atrium shopping centers.

Restoration Marketing Director Irina Zueva reported that the first demo zones drew strong interest from visitors to the new device and that the rollout is progressing well.

On the initial round of test drives, held from February 10 to 19, more than 120 people were introduced to the device, with participation rising to over 300 by the end of the period. By late February, all available test slots were filled. There were numerous requests to extend test opportunities to other Russian cities, prompting the company to arrange access beyond Moscow to regional locations as well, according to Zueva.

Official statements indicate that the test drives in the store network follow Apple’s own standards for product demonstrations and customer experience.

Test drive zones are open daily from 11:00 to 21:00. Prospective users can sign up for a session at stores, by phone, or through a web form to try the augmented reality glasses.

Vision Pro offers a platform where virtual objects can be interacted with in the real world. Users can engage in gaming, watch films, listen to music, and work with applications within a three dimensional space.

These glasses are positioned not only as entertainment hardware but also as tools for education and professional work. Store advisors are available to help visitors learn how to operate the glasses during their test sessions. [Apple press release, 2025]
