Microsoft has issued a warning message to Windows users about possible “data corruption”. sent on the official site Microsoft in the technical support section.
The warning applies to computers with modern processors, as well as operating systems Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 – which ones, the company did not specify. The problem lies in a bug in the operating system from Microsoft, or rather, in the SymCrypt encryption library. If BitLocker Drive Encryption is enabled on the computer, the user risks losing some important data. Microsoft has not yet revealed whether and how it is possible to recover corrupted information.
It is known that there is already a patch that fixes this flaw, but at the same time it loads the system heavily and Windows 11 starts to “slow down” like Windows Server 2022.
Formerly socialbites.ca reportedThat the shutdown dialog in Windows 11 will receive an updated design. According to the published screenshots, Microsoft will remove the Windows logo and computer image from it.
