YouTube developers have released a major update for video hosting on all platforms. This was reported by TechCrunch.
First of all, we updated the standard player: we added the ability to adjust the playback speed in increments of 0.05 by pressing the “-” and “+” buttons, increased the text and preview, and also accelerated the response to user actions. One of the notable innovations is the mini player on smartphones, which can now be moved and scaled across the entire screen within the application. Also added a sleep timer feature for scheduled video shutdown.
You can also now create playlists with your friends, personalize the covers with your own or created images, and invitations to playlists can also be sent using QR codes.
For video bloggers, we introduced the ability to add achievements to subscribers on YouTube and YouTube Music. Users can earn special badges by actively listening to artists, signing up for a paid subscription early, or correctly answering quizzes.
The updated YouTube client for TVs now supports Shorts videos, which gives you the ability to read comments and perform other actions on the platform without interrupting the video.
Previously on Telegram appeared The ability to play Doom on smartphones and PCs.
