Publisher and developer Alawar announced the release date of the roguelite game Karate Survivor, inspired by the action movies of the 80s and one of the hits of Vampire Survivors. The portal reports this 3DNews.
The project will be available exclusively on Steam on October 30, 2024. The release date was announced alongside a 37-second gameplay trailer showing battle scenes and locations.
In the game you will become a master of martial arts, fighting wave after wave of opponents using not only your arms and legs, but also improvised objects. Karate Survivor will offer five unique locations with bosses, three different fighting styles, amazing skills and combos, dozens of weapons, Russian language support and Steam Deck console support.
“Become a martial artist in a survival roguelite inspired by 80s action movies. Fight the bandits with your fists, feet and improvised methods. Perform powerful combos, hone your skills and remember: anything can become a weapon!” – says the project description.
Alawar also reminded that the demo version of Karate Survivor, released on Steam on October 7, is also available as part of the ongoing “Games to Be” festival.
The cost of Karate Survivors has not been announced yet, but the game can already be added to your favorite list.
