Apple Corporation published Financial report for the third quarter of 2024 ending June 29.
According to the document, the company’s revenue in the third fiscal quarter increased by 5% compared to the same period last year, reaching $ 85.8 billion, while net profit reached $ 21.4 billion. For comparison, in the third quarter of 2023, its revenue was $ 81.8 billion, and net profit – $ 19.9 billion.
At the same time, iPhone sales decreased by 1 percent to $39.3 billion, while Mac sales increased by 2 percent to $7 billion. Revenue from iPad sales increased by 20 percent year-on-year to $7.1 billion. It is associated with the release of new models in May 2024.
Revenue from sales of AirPods, Apple Watch and other accessories reached $8.1 billion, down slightly from $8.3 billion in the same period last year. Revenue from services such as Apple Music and Apple TV+ rose to $24.2 billion from $21.2 billion.
The company also noted that the number of active devices increased across all regions, but did not disclose the exact figures. In February 2024, Apple reported that there were 2.2 billion active devices worldwide.
