Reddit forum user published Screenshots and gameplay videos from the mobile version of The Sims 5 (Project Rene).

Life simulator Project Rene, also known as The Sims 5, is currently undergoing closed testing. Despite the secrecy of the process, information about the development of the game has been leaked into the public domain. Thanks to this, a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym DzXAnt22 discovered data indicating the existence of an open world in an early version of the game that appeared online.

A data miner has found a Project Rene world map that he says was inspired by the cityscape of Paris. Additionally, the lack of references to mechanisms for moving between locations in the game code indicates that the game has a seamless transition within the game world.

Later, the same person published a video featuring the gameplay of the mobile version of The Sims 5. This video shows a process of organizing a home, arranging furniture and nearby locations. You can find all photos and videos here: reddit.

The release date of The Sims 5 has not been announced yet. It is known that the game will be free and will be available on PC and mobile devices.
