Apple will introduce the new iPad Air and iPad Pro models on March 26, 2024. In this respect reports The MacRumors publication cites Chinese insider Instant Digital.
Since Instant Digital did not disclose details about the event, it is not known in what format Apple will present the presentation. The company probably won’t be broadcasting live, just a pre-recorded video.
MacRumors noticed that Chinese media IT Home also lists March 26 as the launch date for the new tablets. IT Home’s findings are based on information on case pages for new third-party devices on the Amazon marketplace.
In contrast, Ross Young, director and insider at analytics firm Display Supply Chain Consultants, said that according to his data, the launch of new Apple tablets will occur in April. Yang’s information indirectly confirms rumors from Asian sources, since several weeks usually pass between the announcement of Apple devices and their release.
Young also became the latest insider to confirm that Apple will launch the first iPad Pro with an OLED display and the iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display in 2024. Pro models will also get the latest M3 chip, while Air models will be upgraded to the M2 SoC.
