Russian indie studio SBSR has launched a Steam page for the game Zarya, a driver simulator in a post-Soviet village. In this respect reports DTF portal.

The main character, Vasily, is trying to revive his village, and players will need to help him in this by completing various tasks and learning the stories of the villagers. Developers stated that Zarya was inspired by games such as MudRunner and Death Stranding, as well as Disco Elysium.

“Zarya is a story-driven rural driver simulator in the post-Soviet style. Deliver packages on country roads, help villagers, earn money, collect classic cars and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of your country. The game is developed by SBSR studio, a local development team. We were created with and for the spirit!” – says the announcement on the developers page in the VK community.

The SBSR team, consisting of three experienced game development experts, actively shares updates about Zarya on the VK social network. The fact that Japanese players have already shown interest in the game was a pleasant surprise for the developers, but the main target audience of the project is Russian players.

Zarya’s release date has not been announced yet, but the game page is already available on the Valve store and you can add the game to your wishlist.
