DxOMark laboratory experts tested autonomy of the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. It turned out that the new product is worse in this indicator than last year’s model and its rival, the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
When using social networks, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra lasted only 7 hours and 45 minutes, while its predecessor and iPhone 15 Pro Max showed results of 15 and almost 16 hours, respectively. It was also noted that GPS navigation significantly reduced the operating time of the device, but here the difference between the previous model and the Apple smartphone was not so significant.
At the same time, in camera tests, the Galaxy S24 Ultra showed comparable results to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As a result, the Galaxy S24 Ultra had an overall autonomy score of 130 (ranked 51st overall) arrangement), lower than the Galaxy S23 Ultra (12th place, 142 points) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (32nd place, 134 points) and the rating leader Honor Magic6 Pro (157 points).
In terms of charging, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra can be fully charged wired in 1 hour and 27 minutes, while a full wireless charge will take 2 hours and 9 minutes.
