We are at least 18 months away from the launch of Apple Vision Pro 2. Read about it in your new newsletter, Power On reported Well-known insider and Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.
According to Gurman, the development of Apple’s second generation MR headset continues at full speed. The journalist believes that the new Apple device should eliminate many of the problems of the original device. This is also why Apple Store employees now conduct detailed conversations with Apple Vision Pro buyers who decide to return the purchased device to the store.
Apple doesn’t disclose the Vision Pro’s return rate, but Gurman says it’s at or slightly above average compared to other Apple products. In some stores, returns occur 1-2 times a day, while in others, returns occur eight or more times a day.
“Of course, these are small numbers and there are stores that go days with one or zero returns. This is partly due to the fact that the Vision Pro is a small-batch product. Whatever happens, the current situation is not a sign of a crisis,” Gurman wrote.
According to insider information, Apple Store consultants inform their managers of the reasons for returning the Vision Pro after each return. Managers transfer the information directly to Cupertino.
