Russian company Fplus announced the Flaptop i5-16512 laptop running on the native OSnova operating system. This is the first laptop on the market to offer this operating system for the consumer segment. reports iXBT portal.
“Foundation” is a Linux-based operating system previously used only in the corporate world. It is stated that it offers a high level of personal data protection and is adapted for home use. The operating system includes the “MyOffice” office applications, “Yandex Browser” browsers, Chromium, Konqueror, as well as the Wine package, which allows you to run applications for Windows.
Fplus Flaptop i5-16512 laptop is equipped with Intel Core i5-1235U processor, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. The screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches has Full HD resolution. The device’s battery provides up to 7 hours of battery life. It is stated that the laptops in this series are produced by Fplus in Russia at its own factory in the village of Valishchevo in the Moscow region.
Fplus Flaptop i5-16512 will be available in the near future, but its price has not been announced yet.
