The popular WhatsApp messenger has introduced a new feature in test mode that collects sent photo and video files across channels into a single album. According to reports, the feature to group media content is available in the beta version of the 2.23.26.16 app for Android oppression WABetainfo (WABI).

By clicking on an album, users can view all images and videos in gallery view without having to open each one individually.

This option has been available in WhatsApp chats and groups for several years, but until now it was not possible to automatically create albums containing media files in channels.

“The introduction of the automatic album creation feature in WhatsApp channels provides a significant advantage to channel owners. This feature improves your experience by better organizing media files sent to channels and grouping them into an album.

This not only provides a more visually appealing presentation, but also increases accessibility for channel subscribers. We believe this makes it easier to navigate shared media content between channels and reduces the need to open individual windows, providing a more organized and visually pleasing streaming experience,” WABetainfo stated.

Previously WhatsApp allowed pin messages in group chats.
