After the second phase of the Tiligul wind farm is built in the Nikolaev region, it will be the largest in Eastern Europe. This is what the UNIAN Telegram channel says.
“Ukrainian DTEK and Danish Vestas (…) signed a memorandum of understanding on the completion of the construction of the Tiligul wind power plant in the Nikolaev region on December 4. It is stated that the investment in the project will be 450 million euros. Ukrainian private company DTEK plans to start construction in the second quarter of 2024 and finish it by the end of 2025.
The first phase of the Tiligul wind farm with a capacity of 114 MW was commissioned in spring 2023. According to the announced plans, the station will be able to produce approximately 1.7 TW-g of electricity per year. This power meets the needs of 900 thousand households.
