The Chinese company Meizu announced its new flagship smartphone Meizu 21, which received modern hardware, high-quality screen and 200 MP camera. The portal reports this GSMArena.
Meizu 21 is equipped with a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with Full HD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support and 1800 nits peak brightness. The manufacturer also states that the smartphone has thin bezels around the 1.74 mm display and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The performance of the device is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The main camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels received an optical image stabilization system. The smartphone also has a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 5MP portrait sensor and 32MP selfie camera. In addition, a ring flash with RGB backlight was placed on the back of the device.
The 4800 mAh battery supports 80W fast charging.
The new product runs Android 14 with the proprietary Flyme 10.5 shell pre-installed on top. Meizu 21 also claims to have a powerful mEngine Ultra vibration engine, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an infrared port for controlling home appliances.
Externally, the smartphone does not differ much from its predecessor. The ends of the smartphone are made of aerospace-grade aluminum. Meizu 21 has a thickness of 7.9 mm and a weight of 198 grams. The device body is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP54 standard.
The cost of Meizu 21 in China starts from 3399 yuan (about 42.3 thousand rubles). The device is not reported to be available outside of China.
