The Russian Ministry of Education has launched a project aimed at improving media literacy among schoolchildren, deputy head of the department Anastasia Zyryanova said at a press conference at the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya media group. His words lead the way RIA News.
The official explained that the new educational project will teach the younger generation to distinguish real from fakes and work with social networks and information.
“We have launched a large-scale project to improve schoolchildren’s media literacy, that is, the ability to find and use reliable sources, including the Internet and news information,” Zyryanova said.
He emphasized that in some parts of the country, classrooms have already been opened to help school children understand the flow of information. Moscow, St. Students in St. Petersburg, Tyumen, Kaluga, Ulyanovsk regions, Stavropol Territory, Tyva Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic are already learning media literacy.
Before that Vladimir Putin met with the capabilities of artificial intelligence to educate school children.
Previously, students in Russian schools will work capabilities of combat drones.
